Working together with primary care doctors and various specialists, hospitalists are responsible for overseeing the coordination of care for patients while they are in our medical centers.   • OSF HealthCare is currently seeking additional board-eligible or board-certified pediatricians to join an existing pediatric hospitalist service within any of our OSF HealthCare locations throughout Illinois. This is an academic position with a faculty appointment with the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria (UICOMP). The candidate will be actively involved in training medical students and residents. Clinical time includes the inpatient teaching services, and/or newborn and sedation services. Nonclinical time allotted for scholarly activity and academic growth. Weekend call is shared approximately 1:4, with weekday night call covered by the night shift hospitalist. Night shifts shared among group and are approximately 25% of clinical service weeks. Current state licensure in the state of Illinois required.

Bloomington, Illinois

The physician staff includes four psychiatry physicians. 22 Bed inpatient unit.  Schedule offers a 100% inpatient responsibilities. There are currently 24 physicians in this group at our ‘flagship’ Medical Center. The schedule is 7 on 7 off. As the group grows, scheduling may change.
