Description

The Home Care Staff Development Coordinator, Clinical will work in the Champaign/Urbana providing all clinical education to Champaign/Urbana region Home Health and Hospice Mission Partners, including home visits with clinicians to evaluate competency, provision and oversight of educational needs for new and current Mission Partners in collaboration with regional leadership. Staff Development Coordinator will also assist other regional Staff Development Coordinators as needed to facilitate team coverage, and complete Wound Treatment Associate and Ostomy Care Associate training, which will allow them to provide education and consultation for wound/ ostomy patients in the Champaign/Urbana region. Occasional inter-regional travel will be necessary. 

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Bachelors  

 

 

 

RN in current state or

 

Physical Therapist License or

 

Physical Therapist Assistant or

 

Occupational Therapist or

 

Occupational Therapist Assistant or

 

Speech-Language Pathologist

 

1 year experience in clinical Home Care required

 

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

 

Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.

 

Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. 

 

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Experience working as classroom instructor and with adult education curriculum development

 

 

Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette

 

Knowledge of Epic

 

Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

 

Demonstrates proficiency in typing/ basic computer skills

 

Skilled in correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation/ written and verbal communication

 

Valid Driver's License
