The Radiology Assistant will be responsible for performing duties necessary to provide for the effective daily operations of the Medical Imaging Department. The duties will involve both clerical and clinical areas: including greeting patients, answering phones, obtaining documents and specimens necessary for pre-screening of Medical Imaging exams, scheduling and arrival of Medical Imaging patients, importing of images from outside facilities for Medical Imaging exams, and organization of modality schedules as necessary.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must exhibit excellent customer service skills.
Excellent phone skills and organizational skills a must.
Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft office.
Ability to operate office machinery (Copiers, transcription units, fax, etc.)
Previous Medical Office experience is preferred, but not required.
