Is responsible for the overall operations within the clinical areas of the department to ensure provision of high quality and reliable services. Responsible for effectively managing financial, capital, and human resources in the department by establishing, implementing and monitoring quality and productivity standards. Develops, implements, and ensures adherence to policies and procedures in order to ensure compliance with OSF and third party requirements for patient care and confidential patient information. Coordinates communication with physicians, department employees, other medical center departments and Administrators.
Master’s Degree in counseling or related field.
Current state of Illinois license as Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
5-7 years of related health care field experience
Knowledge of principles of psychology, sociology and human growth and development as well as behavioral health treatment procedures.
Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with patients, families, medical staff and the community.
Ability to provide effective leadership of staff and develop positive internal and external relationships.
Analytical skills to organize and understand financial reports, business plans, productivity, quality and safety.
Knowledge of DSM, ICD and CPT codes.
Experience working in an inpatient, partial hospitalization program, or outpatient program
Experience working in a multidisciplinary team setting
