Description

The Behavioral Health Substance Use Disorder Program Manager is responsible for establishing, evaluating, supporting and assisting with initiatives to support the development and facilitation of a system of care for Substance Use Disorder programming and treatment. This consists of evaluating current practice, researching new opportunities of care and working with the COE team to design best practices for care of patients with Substance Use Disorders (SUD). Partners with Behavioral Health COE, and Behavioral Health leaders.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social work, Nursing, Addiction treatment or related field

 

5 years of work experience in behavioral health field/ Substance Use Disorder field 

 

Working knowledge of management principles and practices, healthcare delivery, information technology, basic budgeting, and healthcare legislation.

 

Working knowledge of clinical behavioral health practices; healthcare analytics, public relations and speaking, performance improvement methodologies and have a track record of implementing innovative behavioral health strategies      

 

Demonstrated ability to facilitate groups, address conflict, establish partnerships, provide consultations to stakeholders, managers, directors, and administrators.

 

Demonstrated ability to demonstrate initiative and innovation in the approach of projects while enforcing a high standard of quality.

 

Working knowledge, skills, and abilities to bridge the gap between practice workflow, clinical outcome, and financial aspects of care.

 

 

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Master’s degree in Counseling, Social work, Nursing, Addiction treatment or related field

 

2 years of project/program management in healthcare or community mental health setting.

 

Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Registered Nurse (RN).

 

Certified in addictions counseling or related certification
