Description

Performs patient retention outreach to re-align patients with another primary care provider when their provider leaves OSF.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

High School diploma or GED

 

2 years of work experience in a medical or patient care setting or CNA/MOA, demonstrating strong use of medical terminology skills or

 

1 year of successful work experience, with proven results within a contact center in patient scheduling agent role or referrals specialist role, with a strong command of relevant Epic functionality

 

6 months of experience delivering successful training and training support

 

 

Moderate competency with MS Office, including basic knowledge of MS Excel

 

Outstanding communication, feedback, interpersonal skills, customer service, and organizational skills

 

Proven outstanding patient advocacy skills and ability to critically think to effectively guide the patient in real time

 

Demonstrated critical thinking and independent decision-making skills, with strong attention to detail

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Certified Revenue Cycle Representative certification within 1 year of hire 

 

Associate’s degree in a healthcare, business, or related field

 

1 year of experience in a Navigator role

 

Experience with training content development
