Job Description


As part of a team that creates innovative, engaging, and educationally effective experiences for the field of healthcare education, the XR & Mobile Developer will apply skills in building and maintaining efficient, organized, reusable, and reliable code. This person is responsible for developing mobile and desktop applications focused around interactive learning, assistive tools, gaming, AR (augmented reality), and VR (virtual reality), all in the support of healthcare education. The Developer will help ideate new product strategies, applying concepts from gaming and entertainment where possible to make learning not only effective, but also enticing, enjoyable, and memorable. Work using a variety of development frameworks and IDEs like Unity, Flutter, Android Studio, and Xcode to create 2D and 3D applications, employing experience with the C#, Dart, Kotlin, and Swift coding languages as needed. Collaborate with UI/UX designers and artists to implement assets, and communicate with subject matter experts to ensure achievement of educational objectives. The Developer helps design application architecture and strategically utilize available code solutions to create stable and effective products. Executes on the directives of leadership to create interactive applications in support of education focused initiatives and organizational strategies.




Bachelor Degree.


2 years of professional experience in Unity development, Flutter development, or equivalent.


Experience with multiplatform mobile and desktop application development and deployment. Demonstrates programming best practices using design patterns like MVC, MVVM, or similar.


Experience with Android and iOS deployment, understanding the necessary accommodations for each platform.


Experience with scripting, textures, animation, GUI styles, and user session management.


Familiarity with Xcode for iOS, and asset utilization best practices within Unity.


Basic trouble shooting, analytical, organization skills and knowledge of various technologies within area of discipline.


Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.





2 years of experience with integrated solutions like databases, REST API, asset package management, and in-app purchase compatibility.


Experience with Firebase or Firestore.


Experience in healthcare-related technologies.


Comprehensive knowledge of one of two primary development environments and languages; Flutter and Dart, or Unity and C#.


Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality to protect patients.
