This scholarship of $6,000 for the 2 year program or $3,000 for one remaining year can be used to cover following expenses:
§ RT course tuition
§ Expenses related to program participation such as books, drug screen, and physical
§ NBRC certification exam fee
§ IL Respiratory Care Practitioner license application fee
After completion of the program,
§ The National Certification Exam (NBRC) must be taken and passed.
§ Recipients of the scholarship will be placed into a RT position within St. Francis Medical Center and will be required to complete 3 years (for $6,000) or 2 years (for $3,000) work commitment. Schedule/shift to be determined at the time of hire.
§ Successfully complete the OSF St. Francis clinical orientation process and probationary period. (Failure to complete any of the above will result in repayment of the course and fees in full.)
Must meet the qualifications of an accredited program for the Spring 2021 or Spring 2022 completion.
