Description

Focus:

This Optimization and Support role is responsible for supporting, maintaining and enhancing applications related to hospital services such as but not limited to Nursing, Physicians, Obstetrics, Hospital Outpatients, Critical Care, Rehab, Behavioral Health, Supportive Care, Infection control and Occupational Health services.


Application Systems Analysts evaluate, plan, design, configure and project manage implementations of commercial software application systems.  Analyze, test, troubleshoot and maintain installed systems and support users.  Provide documentation to support system design, testing and training.  Assist with the management of customer expectations and customer interactions and participate in team quality management initiatives.

 

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Completion of an Associate’s Degree with concentration in Business Administration, Computer Science, Healthcare or other closely related field or 2 years of work experience in healthcare or information technology.

 

Epic certifications needed for the role need to be obtained within 18 months of hire. All Epic certifications must be maintained.

 

Work related experience with MS Office: (Word and Excel).

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree with concentration in Business Administration, Computer Science, Healthcare or other closely related field.

 

Previous work related experience within healthcare industry.

 

Experience with key OSF applications.
