Provides and directs medically prescribed exercise and therapy for cardiac, pulmonary and health fitness patients based on CMS, ACSM, AACVPR, ACE & AHA guidelines. Monitors clinical status and modifies exercises/activities based on assessment. Provides education regarding cardiac/pulmonary health risk factors and lifestyle modifications to patients/caregivers based on exercise physiology concepts, disease processes and adult learning principles.
B.S. Exercise Physiology
American Heart Association BLS
M.S. Exercise Physiology
2 year experience as an Exercise Specialist, experience with cardiac and pulmonary patient management.
