The Director is responsible for the activities of the hospital-based provider practices in the facility and is a dyad to the Chief Medical Officer. The Director is responsible for ensuring that strategic, operating goals and objectives are understood and implemented by all hospital- based providers, both employed and contracted. The Director is responsible for the operational and financial performance with the goals and objectives set by facility leadership.
Bachelors in business or a health services administration
3 years prior managerial experience in medical group or hospital operations
Strong communication skills both oral and written and the proven ability to successfully lead and motivate a workforce
Working knowledge with computer applications and an Electronic Medical record system
Master’s in business or related health services administration
Management experience in an integrated delivery health system
Previous experience related to cost control, productivity enhancement, government regulations and reimbursement in a healthcare environment
Experience in continuous quality improvement programs
