The Coordinator, Congenital Heart Center (CHC) works in close collaboration with the CHC leadership and is responsible for the overall coordination, development, and delivery and monitoring of complex inter-related projects that cross department, organization, or entity boundaries. Directs activities from original concept through design and implementation and ensures program objectives are achieved within the agreed upon scope, timeline risk management, and resource levels. Collaborates with the leadership to determine strategies, direct change management activities, develop project budgets, and develop, manage and integrate detailed plans. Ensures high levels of effective communication, coordination and integration within the Congenital Heart Center, and serves as a key liaison between the Congenital Heart Center leaders and business leaders and executives in OSF HealthCare.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Nursing, or other closely related field
3 years directing and coordinating multiple complex projects
5 years in the healthcare industry
Experience with business and/or information technology planning
Experience facilitating or directing a project team
Experience leading interdisciplinary projects
Knowledge of healthcare delivery and operations
Strong communication and presentation skills
Strong analysis and planning skills
2 years’ experience in formal Performance Improvement/Six Sigma methodologies
Project Management Certification
