DescriptionPerforms Mammography/Radiology procedures at a technical level with minimal supervision. Performs a variety of Mammography/Radiology procedures that require independent judgement, with ingenuity and initiative to apply ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for Mammography/Radiology area and all procedures as required by Supervisor.
Completion of two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology, with or without Junior College degree, and has successfully met requirements for registry by ARRT,as well as licensure with the State of Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety and Mammography registry.
Definite interests in the area shown by willingness to learn and study.
Ability to make independent judgement when necessary.
