Description

The Cook works under the directions of the Food Service Manager. Responsible for the production of all hot food for patients, Convent, Assisted Living, staff and visitors, insuring time, quality, and temperature and presentation standards are met. Provides leadership in the department regarding opening and closing functions of the kitchen.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Completes safe food handling class and passes exam within 1 year of employment.

 

 

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

H.S. Diploma preferred

 

 

 

1 to 3 years’ experience in food service as a cook.
