Description

The Vice President of Support Services is responsible for planning, directing and evaluating the operations of the assigned departments/areas and ensuring the provision of proficient care services. In collaboration with governing bodies, department management, medical staff and clinical leaders, establishes quality standards, fosters cooperative working relations and develops policies and procedures in accordance with government and accrediting agency regulatory requirements. The Vice President of Support Services will also represent the facility and organization in various ways such as being an active member in the community such as memberships on local boards; committees; and service/professional organizations.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration or related field

 

5 years’ leadership experience

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration or Business Administration

 

Prior leadership experience in acute healthcare setting

 

Membership in professional organizations
