Prepares and presents high quality food within specified time frame for patient and retail services. Properly follows safe food handling procedures. Takes customer’s orders and prepare the order according to recipe, keeping in mind additional customer specifications or dietary needs.
High School Diploma or GED
6 months healthcare or restaurant facility.
Illinois Food Safety Sanitation Certification (or within 1 year of hire).
Know basic math skills and follow instructions.
Must be willing and capable of working in a fast paced environment.
Must be flexible and adapt easily to changes in schedule, work assignments and environment.
2 years of experience as a cook in a healthcare facility.
