The Research Finance/Billing Coordinator provides support services to the clinical research investigators, coordinators, and research team members related to study financial performance and study billing plans. Develops and maintains study-specific financial recordkeeping and procedures related to research finance. Maintains all financial document record storage.
Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Finance/Accounting, Biological Sciences or other closely related field
3years healthcare, finance, and/or administrative experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated ability to format and generate summary, statistical, and presentation reports
Demonstrated ability to train individuals and provide education to small groups
Accounts receivable and Accounts payable experience
Research, coding, billing/finance, vendor accounts/relations, Epic, hospital administration, project management, software/database creation and maintenance, customer service, report creation, policy creation/writing, strategic development, Financial Regulations (FDA, OHRP, ORI, DHHS, NIH, CMS), Medicare billing rules, Medicare Clinical Trial Policy experience
Basic knowledge and understanding of the regulatory, operational, logistical, and administrative requirements of clinical research studies
Ability to provide operational guidance on building clinical trial budgets and financial performance
