The nursing supervisor works under the supervision of the Director of Patient Care Services. The nursing supervisor insures quality patient care for an eight hour shift, acts as a professional role model, serves as a clinical resource, and enhances and promotes development of staff and self.
BSN or actively enrolled in a BSN program 18 months after hire and completion of the BSN program 6 years after hire.
Demonstrates leadership and management ability.
Registration and current IL RN license.
Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS CPR or approved equivalent (must include infant through adult, one and two-man rescuer, use of AED, and choking with hands-on CPR skills return demonstration, and must be pre-approved by Org Dev/Human Resources) completed prior to employment
