Description
Responsible for oversight of daily operations of assigned base(s); supervises personnel and coordinates activities of Life Flight pilot personnel; as part of the management team assists in implementation and enforcement of new and existing Life Flight standards; performs duties of active flight crew member.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Meets and maintains qualifications of FAA Commercial Rotorcraft and FAA Instrument Rotorcraft Pilot.
Experience includes:
2000 Hours Helicopter PIC
100 Hours Helicopter Night Unaided
75 Hours Instrument / Hood (50 helicopter in flight)
500 Hours Cross Country
500 Hours Turbine Helicopter.
FAA Commercial Rotorcraft
FAA Instrument Rotorcraft
Current FAA Second Class Medical
Actively seeks Public Relations and Outreach Education opportunities for assigned base(s) service area.
Participates in local EMS/hospital/advisory committees as assigned.
Receives feedback related to flight issues/concerns; resolves issues/concerns and/or refers to appropriate person for resolution.
