High School Diploma
Minimum of one year work experience, preferably in a medical office setting
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in an orderly fashion
Ability to work well under mental pressure
Good written and verbal communication skills
Thorough knowledge of general clerical skills.
Knowledge of office scheduling.
Understand medical office flow.
Proficient in using HeartCare Midwest’s computer system.
Effective communication skills.
Knowledge of hospital scheduling.
Ability to coordinate the process of appointment scheduling.
Ability to pay attention to detail.
Ability to make, handle, and transfer phone calls.
Ability to prioritize and organize a heavy work load each day.
