Provides receptionist, computer operations, clerical duties, and
communication flow for an assigned nursing unit. Assists the nursing care manager, staff nurses, physicians, ancillary department personnel, patients, and visitors within a level of knowledge to facilitate the continuous flow of patients, visitors, and staff and communication within the nursing station.
High School Diploma or equivalence.
Previous work experience as health unit coordinator and/or completion of approved unit clerk course or equivalent experience including knowledge of medical terminology.
