Description
The Machine Learning Analyst will leverage a combination of analytical skills and techniques to provide ongoing support, both technical and professional, and maintenance for Advanced Analytics’ production solutions. Solutions include, but are not limited to predictive models, artificial intelligence agents & bots, simulation/optimizations and ongoing automated statistical analyses. The Machine Learning Analyst will assist the business leaders with ongoing usage of key applications, monitor model performance through a developed application, provide basic performance diagnostics and issue resolution and partner with solution authors for complex issue resolution needs. This position will contribute to the analysis, interpretation, presentation and deployment of Advanced Analytics’ solutions to support OSF HealthCare’s strategic objectives.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or other related quantitative discipline
1 year of experience applying analytic methods to large, complex datasets
1 year of proficient experience using Python or R and SQL.
Demonstrated ability to understand to data science solution deployments and associated data flows
Demonstrated competency presenting complex analytical summaries to a variety of audiences.
Demonstrated functional knowledge of both machine learning and statistical methods
Demonstrated proficiency in SQL
Demonstrated experience working with health information system databases
Demonstrated ability to work as a part of a team and independently
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
2 years of healthcare related analytics experience
2 years of experience work within the EPIC data ecosystem
