Description

The Human Subject Protection Program (HSPP) Analyst is a key member of the HSPP and larger OSF Research Administration Team. The HSPP Analyst provides vital support and expertise to HSPP operations and programming, including study proposal review/analysis, compliance assurance, records management, educational programming, and workflow coordination.  Responsibilities may require occasional travel among OSF facilities.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or a health-related field.

 

 

Minimum of 2 years of experience in HSPP and/or Institutional Review Board (IRB) administration/management and/or clinical research.

 

 

Detailed knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, standards, and guidance (e.g., ICH-GCP, OHRP, FDA, etc.) that govern human subject research.

 

 

Certification or eligibility to sit for Certification Exam for Certified IRB Professional (PRIM&R). CIP must be earned within two years of employment.

 

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Master’s degree in scientific discipline or health-related field.

 

 

Experience conducting and/or overseeing human subject research (e.g., Clinical Research Analyst).

 

 

3 years of experience in human subject protections programming/IRB administration.

 

 

Familiarity with web-based IRB/research administration/clinical trial management systems (e.g., IRBNet, IRBManager, Cayuse, Velos, etc.).

 

 

Familiarity with Epic (electronic health record).
