Description
The Sterile Processing Tech 1 organizes and performs activities related to cleaning, sterilizing, storing, and maintenance of instruments used in patient care or surgery. Assembles instrument sets with appropriate instruments as listed on the count sheets. Work will be completed in the Sterile Processing Department in an assembly line fashion ensuring consistency and accuracy.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Excellent Communication Skills
Basic Knowledge reading computer printouts and working from a task list
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
6 mos. experience in an assembly line/manufacturing background
