Description
Registered nurse protects, promotes and restores health and wellness, by practicing at the highest level of licensure; collaborates with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum; assesses and supports physical symptoms; provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families; mentors assigned team members; promotes best practices; maintains professional disposition at all times.
This position will work between the Orthopedics Specialty practices within the I-80 region to include Ottawa, Streator and Mendota offices as needed.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of an accredited RN program or OSF transfer
Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan)
1 year or more of RN experience in a healthcare environment, preferably in a clinic setting
BSN if new to the role (required completion within 6 years of hire date)
American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers)
Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
BSN
6 months experience as an RN in a healthcare environment
