Description
The Fleet Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of vehicle maintenance and repair of OSF Ambulance’s fleet. They will also coordinate and act as liaison to external vendors for the fleet maintenance as required.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED plus course work in auto and equipment mechanics at a trade school and 3 years’ experience as a mechanic, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
ASE Certifications (eligible) in Automobile & Light Truck Series (A5-A9)
ASE Certification (eligible) in Medium-Heavy Duty Truck Series (T1-T5)
Must possess a valid IL Driver’s License, be at least 21 years of age, and have a safe driving record in order to be insured by carrier.
Knowledge of methods, techniques and procedures involved in maintenance repairs and replacement.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education an Associate’s Degree in Automotive Technology, Automotive Repair, or similar.
ASE Master Status in Automobile & Light Truck Series
Emergency Vehicle Technician-Ambulance Technician Level 1-3, or able to complete.
