Description

The Community Health Education Coordinator will assist with the coordination of activities, projects, and the day to day operations of the Community Health Education department. Coordinate outreach events and health initiatives as guided by the identified Community Health Needs Assessment, the Community Benefit Plan, and the Advancing the State of the Art in Community Benefit guidelines. Assist in the development of long-range strategic plans to meet the community health needs. Provide support for the organizational direction and priority setting processes.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Bachelor Degree.

 

Experience in instructional strategy and engagement.

 

Advanced computer knowledge to include Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

 

Proficiency in building interactive relationships with local human and social service agencies, schools, and related businesses.

 

Ability to regularly and timely travel between various sites.

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Experience in event planning and promotion.
