Provides professional nursing care for physician practice patients following established standards and practices. Greets patients, takes initial information and prepares them for physical examination. Performs general nursing care as prescribed by the physician including administering medications (injections, IV therapy, distributing sample medications), performing therapeutic treatments, patient assessment and education. Performs telephone assessment of patient's chief complaint.
RN License in IL
BSN or must sign an agreement to be enrolled in a BSN program 18 months after hire date and obtain BSN within 6 years of hire date
Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS, CPR or approved equivalent (must include infant through adult, one and two-man rescuer, use of AED, and choking with hands-on CPR skills, return demonstration and must be by HR) completed prior to employment
