DescriptionUnder general direction of the Director Clinical Education, Nursing Administration, the Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator is responsible for ensuring that enterprise-wide education requirements are met by supporting and promoting the LMS’s enterprise and other online educational tools. Performs as online learning management developer to support training, education and regulatory programs. Manages the LMS in cooperation with institution-level administrators. Plans and coordinates all aspects of system maintenance, to include code changes, technology and system upgrades. Manages and maintains LMS and other online learning vendor relationships. Collaborates with various departments and institutions to create enterprise-wide education, courses and assignments as well as track compliance. The enterprise administrator will continually access opportunities in technology to improve LMS and other online learning efficiencies for the benefit of the OSF HealthCare System. Maintain assigned HealthStream and other online learning libraries. Ensures communication, coordination, and integration of multimedia content within the LMS. Collaborates effectively with all assigned mission partners to understand application, content and workflow, and translate to online learning, including multimedia.
Knowledge/experience normally acquired though completion of a Bachelor’s degree in education, training, instructional design or comparable experience.
Experience using eLearning software.
Experience working on interdisciplinary projects.
Experience with computer education plans and approaches, etc.
Computer knowledge/ experience, general knowledge of desktop applications required.
Excellent communication skills essential. The ability to adapt style and content of communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to assess situation, evaluate risks, and make recommendations.
Ability to assess the effectiveness of policies/procedures and to recommend improvements.
Ability to communicate with diverse groups and resolve conflicts appropriately.
Ability to create and provide quality assurance on detailed training curriculum to include eLearning product.

Certification in learning management systems preferred.
Previous work experience in LMS within a healthcare setting is preferred.
2 years experience using a learning management system preferred.
