The College of Nursing Professional Recruiter provides the leadership for implementing and evaluating the recruitment program of the College of Nursing. Represents the College at a variety of recruitment events. Provide leadership in coordinating recruitment strategies with elementary, high schools and postsecondary institutions. Maintain contacts with secondary and postsecondary counselors, teachers, administrators, prospective students, and parents/families. Implement evaluation procedures for recruitment activities. Assists prospective and College of Nursing students with understanding their career options. Assists College of Nursing students as needed in preparing for and finding employment.
Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Current State license as a Registered Nurse
Experience in a nursing program to understand the educational program and nursing career.
Interpersonal skills necessary to represent the College of Nursing to prospective students and their parents/families as well as to faculty members of other educational institutions.
