The Financial Planning Senior Analyst will perform Ministry-wide financial planning activities. This role will coordinate, manage, and disseminate financial planning tools, calendars, and systems while driving to optimize existing practices and procedures. The Financial Planning Senior Analyst will report directly to the Director of Financial Planning and Reporting.
Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business is required.
Must possess understanding of healthcare provider finance that would normally be acquired over 5 to 7 years of progressively more responsible healthcare employment.
Understanding of the healthcare industry, trends, issues, risks, etc
Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in finance (including budgeting, forecasting, strategic financial planning, and capital planning) in an integrated healthcare environment.
Advanced computer skills with strong knowledge of spreadsheet programs; experience with database and decision support systems is preferred.
Ability to perform under changing circumstances and deadlines.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to learn quickly
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to command respect and confidence with professional peers.
Must ascribe to and represent Catholic Religious Ethics, Values, and Principles as they relate to the practice of Catholic healthcare.
CPA, CMA or Masters level coursework preferred.
