Job Description

Description

The MOA will be involved in both the clinical and clerical areas, including assisting with patient care, and handling clerical responsibilities related to the department.   Performs duties necessary to provide for the effective daily operation of the department (receptionist/registration/scheduling, etc).

 

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous secretarial/clerical experience is required, preferably in a medical setting. Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Ability to read, write and perform mathematical calculations at high school level.  Excellent customer service skills

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous medical setting secretarial/clerical experience is preferred
