Reporting to the Patient Care Manager and according to department standards, functions as a member of the Patient Care Team. In doing so, greets and talks with patients, family members and visitors, assists them with information/services during their stay and performs duties/tasks related to acceptance/transfer of patients on unit, registration of transfered patients, schedules outpatient appointments, examinations or tests, and the like. May run errands for the unit. The following are general characteristics of this job, although duties may vary slightly by assigned unit or shift.
High School Diploma
