Description

The Ambulance Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for coordinating quality efforts for operational, clinical, and financial metrics for OSF PRO Ambulance. The coordinator is responsible for collaborating with ambulance stakeholders, producing and presenting quality reports, maintaining records, logs, and data elements related to specific metrics identified within the department. The coordinator is also responsible for acting as a liaison to ambulance billing services, ensuring appropriate claims submitted and gathering/sending appropriate follow up documentation as required.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Associate’s Degree in business, EMS, or related field

 

1-2 years of prior related work experience

 

Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

 

Knowledge of order processing systems and dispatch CAD software

 

Knowledge of Ambulance Billing practices

 

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Bachelor’s Degree in business, community health, or related field.

 

3 years of experience in QA/QI, Ambulance Billing, or emergency dispatch.

 

Certified ambulance billing coder.

 

EMT-Intermediate or EMT-Paramedic licensure.
