The Registered Nurse (RN) works under the direction of the Surgical Services Manager and Director of Surgical and Inpatient Services.
Promotes and exemplifies the mission and values of The Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis and supports the goals of OSF HealthCare System; utilizes the nursing process and the standards of nursing care in the delivery of patient care; manages assigned personnel and promotes collaboration among the allied services; completes other duties as assigned by the Supervisory Personnel.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois.
New grad RNs - BSN or BSN within 6 years of hire and enrolled within 18 months (signed agreement required)
CPR certified and maintains certification.
One year OR, PACU, PRE or POST OP nursing experience in the last 3 years preferred
CPR certified and maintains certification
ACLS within the first 6 months of hire or transfer and maintain certification
PALS within 1 year of hire or transfer and maintain certification
BSN preferred .
