Description
The Diagnostic Tech Assistant works under the direction of the technologist, assists the technologist by performing a variety of duties requiring independent judgment and initiative associated with patient care and general duties. These duties include transporting patients, lifting and holding patients for exams, pushing the portable unit, answering the phone, turning over the room. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to appropriate care to patients of all ages. Is able to navigate electronic Medical Record and complies with regulatory requirements, proper infection control regulations and proper body mechanics
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Graduate or equivalent
Current CPR certification Through the American Heart Association
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong interpersonal, analytical, and multi-tasking skills.
Working knowledge of HIPAA privacy, and safe guarding protected health information.
