Provides administrative support for OSF HealthCare Executive. Using discretion and prudent judgment, this position provides services such as the following: preparation of correspondence in final form, scheduling meetings, maintaining files, conducting special projects, creating presentations, taking minutes at top level meetings and receiving visitors. In doing so, ensures continuity of service to the management team by developing and maintaining a professional and efficient business environment.
High school graduate required with secretarial training and/or additional college or business school preferred.
A minimum of 5 years related work experience supporting executive level leadership.
Ability to type 60 wpm.
Requires familiarity with Microsoft Word software.
Ability to take exact meeting minutes/notes and transcribe.
Strong interpersonal skills necessary to deal with internal and external contacts professionally on behalf of Administration.
Must possess ability to organize own work and function independently.
Work requires strong analytical skill and a thorough knowledge of OSF Ministry-wide policies, and systems, in order to gather data and prepare reports, answer correspondence, conduct project, direct communication flow, etc.
Requires a highly developed ability to act independently and use judgments and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential communications and documents.
Interpersonal skills necessary to work well and interact with others.
