This Manager position will be responsible for supporting Performance Improvement in the Northern Region 50% of the time and supporting Ministry Performance Improvement work the other 50% of the time.



The Performance Improvement (PI) Manager is primarily responsible for the execution of the OSF strategy through PI Portfolio Management, support of the PI Practioners across the Ministry and Methodology Competency & Capability Enhancement Ministry wide.  The PI Manager must demonstrate knowledge and expertise in one of the below Performance Improvement (PI) areas of focus. Managers are responsible for assisting with the overall departmental planning, evaluation of the department’s performance and supporting Innovation. PI Managers are also responsible for managing assigned PI Mission Partners.  Managers are accountable to understand the strategic landscape, Innovation capabilities, build relationships with executive leaders, build the framework to ensure stakeholders are accountable for results and serve as a business partner.  Proactively identifies and collaborates regarding program and project intersections including other strategic initiatives.

Areas of Focus: Portfolio Planning, Ministry/Regional Support and Methodology Competency & Capability Enhancement

 

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in Business or Health Administration or equivalent experience of 5 years or more is required.

 

Knowledge of healthcare delivery, project and program management, innovation, performance improvement methodologies (i.e. RIM, Lean, DMAIC, DMEDI, etc.), basic budgeting, and healthcare legislation

 

At least 1 year experience managing and leading others

 

At least 5 years managing complex projects required

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Approximately 3 to 5 years working in healthcare

 

Previous management experience preferred
