The Infection Control Epidemiologist is responsible for OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center, and OSF Medical Group management of functions related to surveillance, prevention, control of nosocomial infections and provides education to all personnel. The Infection Control Epidemiologist works in collaboration with other Infection Control personnel.
Bachelors degree in Biology or related field.
Four or more years experience in Infection Control, Epidemiology or related field.
Have or be working toward Certification in basic epidemiology (CDC) and/or Certification Board of Infection Control (CBIC).
Computer knowledge, such as Excel or Access.
Ability to use spreadsheets and perform data analysis.
