Description

The Clinical Business Project Manager is responsible for the implementation support of OSF ministry wide Clinical Business projects. This role is accountable for the global process of the project assigned.  Is responsible for leveraging project management, change management and performance improvement methodologies to operationalize solutions.  Provides coordination and oversight for the project plan work break down structure, timelines, work products, and budget. Identifies and engages local stakeholder leaders and integrates other Ministry Services that intersect with the work. This includes but is not limited to: clinical education, Institute of Learning, information technology, marketing and communications, professional practice/standards, patient experience, quality and safety resources, finance and revenue cycle, performance improvement and healthcare analytics.  Works directly with entity process owners during planning, implementation, monitoring and control phases of the work.  Develops and maintains relationships with OSF leaders in order to identify and address operational gaps in processes. Aligns work efforts directly with OSF strategic direction, priorities and Key Results.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Bachelor’s degree

 

2 years of experience in a leadership role

 

2 years of project management and performance improvement experience in a complex setting

 

Strong leadership competencies, performance improvement skills, and the ability to coordinate complex system-wide projects. 

 

Proven ability to lead teams and work groups, promote teamwork, and build effective working relationships. 

 

High level of interpersonal, problem solving, and analytical skills. 

 

Ability to function autonomously in a complex healthcare system environment, as well as, work as a team member or team leader on complex projects. 

 

Demonstrate the ability to grasp abstract concepts, think creatively and design new and original systems and programs. 

 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
