Description

The Unity Developer I is responsible for developing applications focused around interactive learning, gaming, augmented reality, and virtual reality. The Developer will work within the Unity development environment on both 2D and 3D projects, employing experience with the C# coding language. Collaborate with designers to implement assets, and communicate with subject matter experts to ensure achievement of educational objectives. Execute on the directives of leadership to create interactive applications in support of education focused initiatives and organizational strategies.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Bachelor’s degree in interactive media, software/game development, computer science, or similar required. 

 

2 years of professional experience in Unity3D development or similar platforms.

 

Experience with Android/iOS deployment.

 

Comprehensive knowledge of Unity and C#, including experience with scripting, textures, animation, GUI styles, and user session management.

 

Experience with multiplatform mobile and desktop application development and deployment.

 

Understanding of object-oriented programming best practices.

 

Familiarity with Xcode for iOS, and asset utilization best practices within Unity3D.

 

Basic trouble shooting, analytical, organization skills and knowledge of various technologies within area of discipline. 

 

Interpersonal skills and patience necessary in order to interact effectively with others. 

 

Ability to maintain confidentiality to protect patients.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

2 years of experience in virtual reality and/or augmented reality development and deployment, with samples of work available.

 

Experience in other healthcare related technologies.
