Description

The Senior Vice President of St Gabriel Virtual Digital Health (SVP) acts as the operational leader of virtual, on demand and retail services to meet population/market needs and deliver improved health, access to care and performance across the Ministry (OSF HealthCare). The SVP provides clarity of vision and thinks strategically about the business to put the right initiatives in place to achieve the organization’s One OSF Strategy and a competitively differentiated system of care.  The SVP is responsible for growing the population served, creating new revenue streams and developing new and innovative care models that expand OSF’s reach to new markets.  The SVP also is responsible to directly collaborate with OSF Innovation to bring to market new digital solutions and continuously evaluate market trends and disruptors.

Must draw sights from the healthcare market, anticipate opportunities to position virtual health and on demand services for growth and success, and build the right teams to transform care through the creation of a patient and consumer focused model of care that supports and enhances existing core operations.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Master’s Degree – MPH, MHS, MBA, MSN, MAOL or MD

 

 

5 years of management & leadership experience in a consumer focused healthcare environment.  Exhibited leadership skills and executive presence.

 

Knowledge of clinical practice and virtual health best practices.

 

Strong ability to develop relationships and collaborate with local operational leaders.

 

Must possess high ethical standards with ability to build teams and relationships with results orientation and commitment to patient experience.

 

Must ascribe to and represent Catholic Religious Ethics, Values, and Principles as they relate to the practice of Catholic healthcare.

 

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

PhD or DNP

 

 

8 years of health care leadership experience in a complex health system;

 

Advanced communication skills including the ability to promote teamwork and build effective working relationships throughout the organization.

 

High degree of emotional intelligence.

 

Experience with starting new services within a healthcare entity.

 

Ability to lead the work of directors and managers to promote a culture of accountability, quality and service.

 

Project management and performance improvement experience in a complex healthcare setting.

 

Ability to lead teams to embrace and execute ministry wide changes.
