The Clinical Pastoral Education Manager, hereafter referred to as the CPE Manager, provides primary management of OSF Residents for CPE, CPE students and programs in compliance with current ACPE Standards. This manager will work collaboratively with other leaders within OSF HealthCare and in the greater community to educate, guide and direct the CPE program.

The position is to be served by a skilled, qualified leader with vision and talents who will build upon the solid foundations of a recently established program. OSF seeks to retain a qualified, innovative, enthusiastic candidate who works well with others to bring high quality CPE education to our students for the betterment of our patients, their families, students, and staff.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

A Master’s degree from an accredited institution is required. 

 

 

Certification/ACPE Educator in good standing.

 

 

2 years of experience with leading and coordinating prayer.

 

 

Understanding and demonstrated active support of the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services.

 

 

Experience (preferred minimum of two years) with successful completion of projects as assigned.

 

 

Competencies in basic word processing, design and document production as well as willingness to learn new technologies, especially programs that enhance the educational experience.
