Description

The Strategic Planner supports the execution of the strategic plan for OSF Healthcare System.  Provides assistance and facilitation for the management planning process and related activities for all OSF regions, service lines and entities in collaboration with local planning resources to ensure alignment with Ministry goals and areas of focus. Leads complex planning efforts both internally and through consulting partners.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or other closely related field in order to understand management principles and finance.

 

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in healthcare operations and planning.

 

Minimum of 1 year of experience facilitating executive-level meetings and preparing and delivering both small and large group presentations to executives, physicians, and others

 

Minimum of 1 year of experience preparing and delivering both small and large group presentations to administrators, physicians, and others.

 

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Master’s degree Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or other closely related field

 

Exposure and/or training in 6 Sigma and or other PI methodologies and measurement.

 

Strong analytical skills are required to address operational and system related problems, to gather and interpret operational, financial and clinical data, and to prepare clear, concise management reports.
