Sets up tray assembly line for cold food, beverages, soup station and places items on patient trays according to patient menu selections. Performs a variety of other related duties including preparing basic food items, loading tray delivery carts, transporting carts to and from patient care areas working in ware washing (as necessary), maintaining work area in a clean and orderly condition, and working in other assigned areas within the department.
Ability to read, write, and follow written instructions.
Approximately 1 month on the job experience necessary in order to learn trayline procedures, become familiar with trayline assembly and learn department and Medical Center policies and procedures.
