Description

Plan, administer and direct all unit activities related to food production, culinary operations and complying with the standards established by the Food & Nutrition Services Department and regulatory agencies. Lead food production staff. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments to provide a unified food service experience for patients, visitors and Mission Partners.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


 Associates Degree with a focus in the culinary field or three years of experience as a lead in the food service or hospitality industry.

· Servesafe and Allergen Certification must be achieved within 90 days of employment.

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Bachelor’s Degree

 

5 Years as a Food Production Supervisor in a Healthcare setting

 

Certified Dietary Manager Certification

 

Purchasing, Culinary, Math, and Computer skills
