Description

The Manager, Regional Clinical Practice is responsible for providing leadership for the clinical services provided by nursing, and other professional and ancillary staff throughout the region. Has direct oversight of the job responsibilities of the Clinical Practice Coordinator (CPC). Responsible for the implementation of evidence-based nursing/clinical standards of care/policies and ensuring nursing/clinical competency, including staffing ratios. Represents the needs of the region and assists in the development of clinical staff roles within the scope of their licensure or certification/education, through the clinical care model adoption and/ or job description. Assists with the development of quality, safety and regulatory initiatives and is accountable for the implementation and monitoring of such activities. Leads and coordinates Clinical Agenda performance initiatives, and is responsible for clinical engagement, professional development and retention of high performing clinical staff. Engages and collaborates with other regional resources, including site managers, supervisors, clinical coordinators/preceptors, credentialed trainers, clinical educators and quality, safety and regulatory specialists, to coordinate efforts, align priorities, and support clinical agenda initiatives. Has a direct reporting relationship to Directors of Professional Practice and Nursing and is accountable to the Operational Dyads regionally.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Current State License as a Registered Nurse

 

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

 

Minimum 3-5  years of clinical nursing/leadership experience

 

Interpersonal/communication skills necessary to effectively lead, guide, and collaborate with frontline Mission Partners, physicians, and organizational leadership

 

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

 

Knowledgeable on Electronic Health Record

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Certification in area of specialty preferred

 

MSN preferred

 

Minimum 3-5  years of previous clinical nursing experience at the office/clinic or similar preferred

 

Process improvement training and experience

 

Epic experience
