Job Description


The Educational Programs Outcomes Analyst (Systems Integration and Education Scientist) leads Jump’s efforts to advance effective simulation-based solutions to healthcare system problems through creating defensible assessments and translating resulting data into actionable information that assists leadership with evidence-based decision making for operational and strategic areas.  These areas include improving clinical performance, increasing educational efficiency, enhancing inter-professional team performance, standardizing training, validating innovative educational interventions and identifying areas for systems integration.

The Systems Integration and Education Scientist is responsible for timely, innovative analysis and interpretation, employing sophisticated behavioral analysis techniques, and presenting recommendations to management.  Works with educational leadership throughout the Ministry to analyze outcomes of training interventions to identify gaps, establish targets and devise the most efficient and effective methods to improve clinical performance.  Helps OSF improve its healthcare delivery system by using analytical tools, data modeling, and problem solving techniques to transform data, analyze the results, synthesize solutions, and support decision-making.

Assumes mentor role for OSF Ministry employees in behavior and educational analysis fundamentals, utilization of creative problem-solving abilities, researching problems and/or issues, and developing effective solutions.




Master’s degree in educational assessment, outcome evaluation, (bio)statistics, quantitative psychology, or institutional/organizational psychology with a focus on assessment methods.



1 year of work related or project equivalent experience in programmatic assessment and evaluation, either in educational setting or in a working role.



Must be able to manage risk and ambiguity, work effectively with operational staff, leadership, and clinicians to define scope, and be able to manage multiple and often changing priorities.


Time management skills required to deliver high-quality reports and information in a dynamic environment with critical deadlines.


Strong analytical skills are required to address educational and clinical performance problems, to gather and interpret individual and team performance data, and to prepare clear, concise management reports.


Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills are required to share complex information with leaders across the ministry. 


Previous experience preparing and delivering both small and large group presentations is required.

Excellent application skills (R or equivalent statistical package, Qualtrics or equivalent survey platform, QuickBase or equivalent database, Excel with attention to Pivot tables, PowerPivot, PowerQuery, Data Model, etc.) are preferred with the ability to become an expert in new data analysis systems quickly. 


Able to evaluate technology in context of process & reporting needs and utilize such technology applications for creating reports.


Demonstrated history of using reporting, spreadsheet, database, and statistical applications is required. 


Must demonstrate analytical skills necessary to design both quantitative and qualitative data and find practical solutions to difficult and complex problems.


Proven skills in organizing projects, team building, training, and problem solving are required. 


Comfortable in large-group communications such as conference presentations.

PhD level preparedness related to behavioral assessment and programmatic evaluation.



1 year of experience in a health care or clinical education system, with engagement in patient safety and/or quality assurance projects.


Development expertise with relational databases is preferred.
